Sizing

Sizes run generous. Here is how to be sure before you buy.

Read the product page first

There is no single size chart on this site, on purpose. We print on different blanks in different runs, and one chart covering all of them would be wrong about most of them. Instead, every product page lists the real measurements for that garment, in inches, under Cut in the item's details.

Those measurements describe the garment laid flat, not your body.

How we measure

  • Chest — laid flat, measured across from one underarm seam to the other, then doubled.
  • Length — from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
  • Sleeve — from the shoulder seam to the cuff.

The reliable way to choose

Take a shirt you already own and like the fit of. Lay it flat, measure it the same three ways, and compare those numbers with the ones on the product page. That beats guessing from S through 3XL every time.

If you are between two sizes: our cuts are boxy rather than fitted, so take the smaller one unless you want room for layers underneath.

Hats

Caps and beanies list a head circumference in centimeters as well as a size name. Measure around your head just above the ears, keeping the tape level.

If it does not fit

Send it back within thirty days, worn or not, and we refund the goods. See Courier and caravan for how to start that.

If a measurement on a product page turns out to be wrong, tell us at shop@thebrokendieinn.com. We would rather fix the number than argue about it.
